The Multi Medical Assistant Program is designed to provide the students with clinical and administrative skills, which will enable them to perform both front and back-office procedures in medical offices. The administrative skills students will learn include medical ethical issues, medical codes, how to deal with a variety of patients, schedule appointments, complete insurance forms, patient billing, and electronic medical records.

Students will learn how to perform the following clinical skills: setup an examination room and assist with general examinations, take vital signs, injections, capillary punctures, venipuncture, perform and evaluate routine laboratory tests. Students will learn how to use these skills and procedures via classroom and clinical hands-on training.

Program Details

The training program is hybrid (online and in person) and can be completed in 8 weeks. 

BY TAKING THIS PROGRAM YOU WILL BE ELIGIBLE TO TEST IN PHLEBOTOMY, EKG AND MEDICAL ASSISTING.

How Much Does a Medical Assistant Make?

In Illinois, on average, Medical Assistants make $18.00- $24.00 per hour or $36,800 - $49,920 annually

Enrollment Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • GED or High School Diploma (high school seniors in spring semester are eligible to apply)
  • Government-issued ID
  • Hep B Vaccination

Do I Need any Prior Medical Training?

No. Being a Certified Medical Assistant requires a high school diploma or GED.

Course Hours & Times 

  • Evening Class: 6:00PM - 9:00 PM
  • Every Tuesday for 8 weeks.
  • Saturday Morning Class 10:00AM-12:00PM *has not started yet*

Tuition & Fees

  • $2,250 (eligible to take 3 national exams; receive 3 certified certifications for one price!)

Completion & Testing Information

Upon passing the course, you will qualify to take your certification exam.

THIS PROGRAM QUALIFIES FOR A PARTIAL SCHOLARSHIP.

The Partial Scholarship is designed for invididuals who are looking to start this program within one month of registration, to accept your partial scholarship you must register for your course. If chosen as one of our winners You will receive half of your tuition fees paid. $1,250 will be remaining tuition.
